The 2019 Lexus NX Hybrid compact SUV refreshes slightly in style, unchanged the technical features and the Lexus Hybrid system
2019 Lexus NX Hybrid, the mid-size SUV of the Japanese luxury brand, is presented with a renewed and ready-to-go release in the market: details of a marginal restyling, which introduces a slightly revised front, particularly in optical groups Fronts, which we can admire from the various official Lexus images. They are indicated for a new graphics of the lenses, full LED headlamps with three elements and burnished bottom. An additional element appears at the bottom of what is a “light guide” profile. Japanese designers also intervened in the shape of the air vents and fog lights. The Lexus NX Hybrid in Italy has a price list that starts from 39,950 euros and beyond the aesthetic interventions on the bodywork, most likely there will be no variation with the facelift.
2019 Lexus NX Hybrid Redesign
The changes to the rear relate, then, the revised style of the headlights (with LED technology) and the bumper fascia, now more sporty. But it doesn’t end here, because the Lexus NX 2019 can also flaunt new 18-inch alloy wheels. It is halfway through the life cycle of the first generation and does not change, however, the style characteristics that uninformed Lexus NX Hybrid to the rest of the range: confirm the daytime LED lights to “whisker” under the projectors and obviously the Hourglass Grille remains the center Focal length of the entire puzzle.
Lexus has also announced the changes to the interior: improvement of the equipment and, more importantly, the proposal of new infotainment solutions, with now display of 10.3 inches (against the previous 7 inches). Also new are the controls of the air conditioning system, now with a simpler and more intuitive graphics.
2019 Lexus NX Hybrid Engine Specs
The technical data sheet of the Lexus Hybrid system we remember can count on a system power of 197 horsepower and 206 Nm of maximum torque, with gasoline heat unit of 2.5 liters. The performance of Lexus NX Hybrid says a maximum speed of 180 km/h and an acceleration from zero to one hundred in 9.2 seconds, while the declared consumption is equal to 5.1 liters/100 km at the best of the proposals in the range, the basic set-up. Executive, Icon, F-Sport and Luxury are the two-and four-wheel drive alternatives.
From the technical point of view, the trim has also been revised. In particular, the Lexus speaks of redesign with regard to springs, anti-roll bars and elastic bushings, to the advantage of precision in corners. The new shock absorbers, then, are designed to improve comfort and road holding. We find the same system “Adaptive Variable Suspension” as on the LC 500.
