2018 Maserati Ghibli Reviews, Updates, Prices
Updating content, particularly in terms of infotainment and safety accessories. Three years after the commercial launch the 2018 Maserati Ghibli gives an update of the content. Redesign may not be the correct term, but the update is probably the best way to call it. As well as define marginal is totally wrong.
Of course, in terms of aesthetics, there aren’t any news, but this, in my opinion, is irrelevant. The style of the saloon of the Trident is not affected at all by premature aging or anything like that, and it is confirmed to date as one of the most attractive cars in its segment. The template keeps the solution with a calendar all black, without adopting what was seen on the Levant with decorative vertical chrome strips.
The pictures you see above show a preview of the news, both outside and inside, with the adoption of a new infotainment system, with 8-inch touchscreen display. Also change the climate controls, completely identical to those already seen on the new Maserati Quattroporte 2017. But that’s not all because even the optional equipment is improved to keep pace with the times. You see, between the packages, the new Driver Assistance “and” Driver Assistance Plus “: the first includes adaptive cruise control with stop and go function and blind spot detection system (Blind Spot Alert) with the rear cross path; the second adds the contents of the first 360° surround view room also. These safety accessories, if desired, can also be purchased individually.
2018 Maserati Ghibli Engine
An update on the heels of the Maserati brand’s first SUV, Levant, as they call those of the Trident, “Maserati SUVs”. In fact, the contents are similar to those introduced for the first time from the Levant and then added later on the Quattroporte.
Technically we report that the version of access to gasoline, the Maserati Ghibli 3.0 V6, increases the maximum 20 horses, climbing to an altitude of 350 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.
All this translates to an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 267 km/h. Next year, however, we can expect real makeover, with even an upgrade in stylistic terms. A bit like what happened a few months ago on the Quattroporte.
