Here is the 2020 Seat Tarraco, third 7-seat SUV of the Volkswagen group arrives. It comes from Tiguan Allspace and offers the new family feeling by Seat.
Unveiled the 2020 Seat Tarraco, the SUV 7 seats according to Seat. The family feeling shows an evolution compared to what we had seen on the last cars of the Spanish house, especially regarding the shape of the headlights and the design of the mask. The dimensions of the Seat Tarraco place it in the D segment, the one populated by the VW and Skoda cousins of course, but also by Ford Edge, Renault Koleos, etc. The Tarraco is 4,735 mm long by 1,658 mm in height: enough to accommodate 7 passengers. For those who do not need all these seats, you can also opt for the five-seat variant, with greater luggage capacity. The boot of the Seat Tarraco has a minimum capacity of 760 liters (700 liters in the configuration 7 seats), maximum of 1,920 liters (1,775 liters for the 7 seats).
Speaking of the interiors of the New Seat Tarraco, also, in this case, we clearly notice the desire of the designers to further develop the family feeling of the brand. The new SUV, in fact, is the first model of the Spanish company to propose a dashboard with central tablet-style infotainment (display up to 8 inches), with the suspended design. The relationship with Skoda and Volkswagen is very evident with regard to the shape of the seats and door panels. A careful eye also notes that the dashboard of the air conditioning controls is the same used on all models of the Volkswagen group. Among the features to report we can also mention the 10.25 “digital instrument panel.
The space on board is abundant, both in front and behind. And even those who sit in the third row of seats are not too sacrificed: we are not talking about two makeshift places.
2020 Seat Tarraco Engine Specs & Price
Even the engines are not a surprise. Under the hood of the SUV 7 seats Seat home, we find units already well known and used on different models of the VAG group: the access versions will be equipped with the TSI turbo petrol 1.5-liter 150 hp, available with manual transmission to six ratios and front-wheel drive. Rising in level, remaining among the petrol engines, there is the biggest 2.0-liter 190-hp TSI, combined with the 7-speed DSG gearbox and 4Drive all-wheel-drive system.
On the diesel front, the range consists of the classic 2.0-liter TDI of 150 or 190 horsepower: the first is available in both 4 × 2 and 4 × 4 versions, while the second is only with four-wheel drive and with dual-clutch gearbox DSG to 7 Speed. The seat has already announced that the engine range will expand in the future. And the prices? 2020 Seat Tarraco has a list price starting from 29,000 euros.
